Laureates 2019

Johannes Stüttgen

is being honoured for his life’s work in spreading, deepening and continuing Joseph Beuys’ idea of an expanded concept of art, for precision and clarity in showing the idea of Social Sculpture in its various facets, and for his practical commitment as co-founder of the Omnibus for Direct Democracy. The prize money is 10,000 euros. The award ceremony took place on 22 November 2019 in Düsseldorf.

Utopiastadt

The prize money is 10,000 euros. The award ceremony took place on 23 November 2019 at Utopiastadt in Wuppertal.
